Mother's Day 2013

This Mother's Day didn't start out so good.  I woke up at 4:30 am not feeling well and went back to sleep until 5:30 when Emmerson woke up.  I was on the toilet with her playing around me until 7:30.  Andrew woke up and his eye that he had hurt on Saturday was still hurting so bad that he couldn't even open it.  I was feeling better so I called his eye doctor and set up for us to come in at 9:15 to get it looked at.  We got ready for church, got Andrew's eye looked at (it was a scratch so she put a healing contact in), and headed to church.  Andrew's parents met us there and we enjoyed a wonderful service and a meal at Applebee's afterward.  I did get to see my mom at church to tell her happy Mother's Day and actually had already spent a lot of the weekend with her :)  After lunch we came home and rested while the kids napped.  When they woke up we took Ollie's crib down (which he never crawled out of) and put in his new big boy mattress that Dad and Mom Wiese had brought.  He is doing a great job sleeping in it by the way!  After the bed situation was taken care of we went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and then we were off to get ice cream per my request.  It was delicious and definitely hit the spot!  We stopped and got some groceries and some dirt for our garden and then enjoyed a grilled steak dinner....
Before our meal.

Had to get a quick picture before bed.

Silly kids!

One with Grandpa and Grandma.

Andrew and his mom.

Such a wonderful mother!
As crummy as the day started, it did end well.  Such a blessed time with Dad and Mom.  Oh, and Andrew did get me an air popcorn popper that I am super excited about!  Thanks Babe!
We are so blessed with two awesome mother's that daily show their love to us with their words and actions.  They are great examples of what Godly mother's should be like.  We love you both very much!  And I am so blessed to be the mother to my two sweet children that I love to death.  So excited to see how God is going to work in their lives.  Thank you Jesus!
