Ollie Update

Oliver is 5 weeks old today! He has been such a great baby, especially with having to travel so much! It has been nice being home these last couple of days and starting to get a routine. He doesn't really cry unless he is tired or hungry. He eats about every three hours during the day and usually wakes up once during the night to eat and then around six in the morning. He loves to be held when he goes to sleep. At his two week checkup which was actually at almost three weeks he weighed 11 lbs 6oz and was 22 3/4 in. long. He is such a big boy! I think he weighs about 13 lbs now. He is even wearing some 3-6 month clothing! He only loves bath time when it is in his big boy tub and likes his swing most of the time. He smiled at me a couple of weeks ago a few times and lately has been doing it a lot, I love it:) He has also started "talking" more... so sweet. We are falling more and more in love with him every day:)
Here are some pictures starting from when we brought him home till now. Enjoy!

Mr. & Mrs. Dustin Massner

Last Wednesday we left for San Luis Obispo, California for my brother's wedding. We left for St. Louis in the morning and met my whole family at the airport.
Andrew and Ollie ready for the trip in their matching outfits...
I don't know what we would have done without Dad, Mom, Brock and Drew to help us and Nichole and Aaron with the kids and luggage!? The kids all did amazing on the flight. It was direct to LA which was great. We fed the boys on the take off and landing to help with their ears popping, it seemed to work well. Once we landed we rented cars and were off on our 3 1/2 hour drive to San Luis.
The boys at the airport...
The next morning the first thing that happened was Dustin got to meet his nephew Oliver. It was so great to see him! We hadn't seen him since the end of May when he left for his internship in Idaho.
The next couple days were spent at the beach, the Farmer's Market, and wedding festivities. The Farmer's Market was so fun! It was downtown with all different vendors and restaurants selling fresh produce and food. It was fun to try different things and enjoy the beautiful weather!
Dad and Mom in line waiting to get ribs...
Family shot... Ollie did so well riding around in his stroller!
Can you tell they are ready to eat ribs?:)
Here are Ollie and I ready to go to the beach. I had fun dressing him in his new Cali ball cap and sandals:)

Friday night we got to go to the rehearsal dinner. It was delicious and fun to meet more of Leah's family. Saturday was the wedding. It was a perfect day for one:) We arrived at The Cliff's around 4 o'clock for family pictures.
Here are the boys with their matching outfits, it was so adorable!
The most beautiful flower girls I have ever seen...
The groom and his men...
Sisters...
It was such a beautiful setup! Everything was perfect.
Here is the wedding party waiting for the bride...
The ceremony was so wonderful. I don't think there was anyone there with dry eyes by the end. God was definitely there and you could see their love for each other was from Him.
The kiss!...
Family shot...
Nichole and I are so excited to have a new sister!
The reception was across the lawn from the wedding. I loved the decoration style!
The food was amazing and I think the dessert bar was my favorite (in looks that is:).
Here is the view from right outside the tent... breathtaking:)
Cutting the cake...
Ollie's first dance was with beautiful Lindsey:)
Here are the girls dancing with their lollipops.... I think they danced all night long!
Cousins... It was so great to have Marie and her family there!
Sunday, AJ and Abby came down to see us and meet Oliver. We had fun shopping, going to the beach, eating out, and catching up! Thanks so much for coming down to see us guys... we love you!
The trip back went well too. We are so thankful for safe travels and so excited for Mr. & Mrs. Dustin Masser! We love you both so much and will miss having you here in Iowa with us!

Here are some pictures of the shower we had for Leah before she left.
The hostesses...
The new babies that were there...

Here are some pictures of our last night with Leah in Iowa before she left. We went to the pool that afternoon and then out to eat. We are going to miss you so much Leah!

It think we are done with traveling for weddings for a long while:) We are home for the rest of the summer and are excited to watch our little boy grow!

Virginia

On July 4th Andrew, Oliver, and I left for Virginia. We left at 4:45 pm and our first stop was in Morton, IL to visit my Grandma and family. Here is Oliver with his Great Grandma Wuthrich. We were so excited that he got to meet her and some other family!
We stayed for an hour and then were off to Virginia. It took about 20 hours because we had to stop to feed. Oliver did so great and slept most of the way! We were so thankful:) We got to Ben and Sherry's the next day in the afternoon. We had fun spending a couple days with them playing disc golf, shopping, and hanging out. Here is Ollie with Uncle Ben and Aunt Sherry!
On Thursday we headed up to Richmond for wedding festivities. My high school friend, Adrienne, was getting married and I was her matron of honor. Thursday night after we picked Mom and Marie up from the airport, Marie and I headed out to eat with Adrienne and a couple other girls. Afterwards they all came back to the hotel for gifts and to meet Ollie. Here he is with Adrienne!
Friday I practiced Adrienne's hair in the morning and then Mom, Marie, the boys, and I went shopping. Then Andrew, Ollie, and I headed to the rehearsal and the dinner. Saturday morning I headed over to the church to get ready and do hair. Mom and Marie came with to watch Oliver until after I fed him, then they took him back with them until before the wedding started. Here are some pictures of us getting ready...

They are such a cute couple:)

Congrats Drew and Adrienne! The wedding was beautiful and I was honored to be a part of it.

P.S. The trip back was good too... he is such a sweet little boy:)
