7 Months

On Monday our baby was 7 months old! It is so fun watching him develop his little personality which is pretty chill. He loves just exploring the living room right now. He isn't crawling on his hands and knees yet but is getting where he wants to go. Sometimes he gets frustrated because he wants to go forwards but can only go back:) He can stand up on his own for a while if he is holding onto something and can pull himself up if he is halfway there:) Oh and he loves cords, any kind of cord. He will just sit and play with it forever! Yesterday Andrew was pushing the truck to him and Ollie would push it back to Andrew, so cute. For some reason he is fascinated with this light fixture in our doorway? Every time he sees it he just smiles and stares. I was wanting to get a new light because it is a little outdated but maybe we'll just have to keep it for a while:) He is enjoying his baby food which he gets in the morning and evening. He really likes his meat and veggie dinner and is nursing every 4 hours during the day. I have made some baby food for him (carrots and green beans) and my mom made him some squash. It is so easy and I want to make more! After a couple of nights of having him put himself back to sleep, he has been sleeping 8+ hours at night! He loves bath time, especially when I put water on his head to wash his hair? By the time the bath is over there is hardly any water left in his little tub. He does not like his diapers or clothes changed much. He does LOVE reading books before naps, which he usually takes 3 a day. He is starting to fit into some of his 12-18 month clothes and is going to need a new car seat soon! Such a little man....

We love you Ollie, just how God made you... we are blessed!

Dad's Birthday!

On Saturday we celebrated my dad's 52nd birthday!

Happy Birthday Dad! We have so many wonderful memories with you and can't wait to make more in the years to come:) We love you so much!

My New Fondness

My lovely husband got me a new sewing machine for Christmas and I love it dearly. I have so many ideas in my head... I just need to get the supplies to create them.

We broke the sewing machine in on the "snow" day Andrew had last week. He had quilted squares of his old high school shirts a couple of years ago and had never finished it, so that is what we did! He did a superb job! Don't ya think?

Last weekend I finally got the nerve to purchase some fabric I had been eyeing so I could actually sew something. Also, the past couple of days I have been learning how to make fabric flowers. I finally decided to put the two together and make a fun headband. I got the idea from a couple of headbands I have seen online, and kinda did my own thing with it.

I'm pumped to sew a valence for my kitchen. Soon enough...

Rook Night

Last night we went up to Marie and Kay's to watch the Ohio St. vs Arkansas game while playing Rook. It was so fun to have Brock and Stacy there! We enjoyed yummy snacks and good fellowship.

We love game nights! Thanks for having us Marie!

New Year's Eve

We got to ring in 2011 with our friends Matt & Sarah! They made a beautiful crab leg dinner, we played Rook, and enjoyed appetizers as we watched different parts of the world bring in 2011.

At midnight we ushered in 2011 with party hats, sparkly, and a kiss from our man. We were so blessed in 2010 and can't wait to see where God leads us in 2011! Thanks so much Matt & Sarah for hosting us! We love your friendship :)

Mackenzie's 6th Birthday

December 21st was Mackenzie's 6th birthday and we got to celebrate with her at Pizza Ranch.

We love watching her grow into a smart, beautiful, little girl. We love you Mackenzie!

6 Months

On December 24th Oliver was 6 months. Time has flown by! He weighed 20 lbs 8oz and was 29 in. long! He is such a big boy. He isn't really liking baby food all that well but is still nursing great. He is starting to get up on his hands a knees for a little bit and holds his hands out to me when I hold mine out to him. He is still very content and happy. He hasn't been that regular with sleeping through the night but always goes back to sleep after he eats. He loves the exersaucer that Aunt Melissa is letting him use and also loves his new Christmas toys. We enjoy him so much and are so blessed to have such a healthy, sweet boy.
These are his six month pictures that Andrew and my mom took... enjoy!

Christmas 2010

This Christmas was filled with celebrations!
On December 18th we got to celebrate with the extended Massner side of the family at Dad and Mom's. It was so great to see everyone!

On Decemeber 23rd we celebrated Christmas with our family. We did stockings the night before (something Andrew wanted to try) and opened presents that morning. It was so fun with it being Ollie's first Christmas and watching him try to open his gifts (playing with the paper.) Andrew surprised me with a new sewing machine which I am sooooo excited to use!

Christmas Eve we had our Christmas dinner with my family and stayed overnight to open presents on Christmas morning. It was so great to have Dustin and Leah there!

On Christmas afternoon, we headed up to Andrew's parents. We enjoyed spending a couple of days with family there. We missed Ben & Sherry, AJ & Abby, and Dan & Anna very much!

On January 2nd we celebrated Christmas with the Wuthrich side of the family in Morton. It was so great to see Grandma (she just had 3 stents put in) and other family we hadn't seen in a while!

We feel so blessed to have such wonderful family and a Savior that came to Earth to save us!
