Emmerson 3 Months

Emmerson was 3 months last Thursday.  She is such a sweet good baby.  She has been sleeping through the night since around 8 weeks and does a good job of putting herself to sleep.  Around 10 weeks she started rolling over both ways!  So crazy!  I can tell she is going to be more of a mover than Ollie was :)  She is so smiley especially when Ollie plays with her.  We love to hear her giggles once in a while. She has been sitting pretty well in her bumbo these past couple of weeks and she loves being where the action is.  Last weekend we drove up to Chicago in the evening and she was not a fan of sitting in her car seat in the dark.  When it is light out she does pretty well.  Here are some recent pictures...

We enjoy seeing her personality develop and love snuggling with her!  We love you baby girl!

Weekend

Last weekend Andrew was gone on a retreat so the kids and I went up to my parents for the night. My parents left for Drew's football game in the evening so a friend that I grew up with came over with her little girl and we got to catch up.  So fun!

 The next morning I cut Drew's hair and Ollie ate breakfast while Mom gave Emmerson a bath.  Not sure how he got like this?...

 Then we left for the Town and Country Days parade...

 Ollie wasn't very interested in picking up the candy.  He just wanted to eat it and watch the parade :)  On Sunday we were up at my parents again for the Fantasy Football Draft.  Us girls just had fun hanging out...

birthdays

August is full of family birthdays!   

On Friday the 17th, Dad and Mom Wiese came down to celebrate Andrew's birthday as well as mine.  We got to give Mom her gift because her birthday was at the beginning of the month.  I'm so sad I didn't take any pictures but we had a lot of fun hanging out Friday night and going out for pizza.  They stayed over and took Ollie and Emmerson to my parents on their way home so Andrew and I could go to a movie.  It was so much fun!  Thanks so much for coming! 

On Sunday after church we ate out and went back to my parents to hang out and celebrate Brock, Andrew, and me.  Thankfully my mom took pictures and sent them to me...

We feel so blessed to be able to celebrate with our family!  Thanks fam... we love you all!

Emmerson - 2 Months

Our sweet baby girl is 2 months already!  We just love loving on her and watching her grow.  At her 2 month appointment, which was actually at 7 weeks, she weighed 11 lbs. 3.9 oz. and 23 3/4 in. long.  Her checks are getting chubbier and I have to make sure I scrub between her rolls.  We love it!  Lately she has been jabbering and smiling.  She loves to talk to the animals on her bouncy seat.  I remember Ollie doing the same thing :)  She has been a great sleeper!  She has been going down for the night around 9 or 10 and then sleeping somewhere between 5 and 7am and then goes back to sleep till around 9.  She takes nice naps and has been good about going down whether I hold her or she falls asleep in her bed.  This week we officially got Ollie's room done so he has moved out of the nursery and Emmerson has moved in!  Still need to had some girly touches to the nursery :)  Ollie is still doing very well with her.  He loves telling her everything he is doing and is still correcting us if we call her the wrong name.  Lately she has been "Baby Girl" or "Emmie".  She may not know her real name for a while :)  She is very easy going but will let me know when she is hungry or tired.  Here are some recent pictures of our Pumpkin...

Gitche Gumee 2012

We had another fun week at Gitche Gumee Bible Camp this year, although it wasn't quite as relaxing with TWO little ones :)  The drive up was broken up into two days but the ride back we did in one and wasn't as bad as we thought it would be.  While we were there Emmerson got a cold and we decided to take her to the ER to make sure that it was just a cough.  Thank God it was!  Here are some pictures that highlight our fun week....
