Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day weekend we drove up to Dad and Mom Wiese's to spend time with family.  Kevin, Melissa, and their kids came too. And we didn't think Anna was going to be able to make it but she surprised us!  We got there Saturday afternoon and had a fun evening of relaxing and hanging out.

On Sunday afternoon the girls got to go shopping and then the boys went disc golfing when we got back.  While the men were out, we set up the sprinkler for the kids because it was in the 90's... way too hot for me!  Good thing there was a strong breeze!  Ollie loved the sprinkler once he got use to it.  He had so much fun playing with his cousins...

Sunday evening, after dinner, Anna took the kids out to get DQ before she left, what a sweet Aunt!  We had another relaxing evening just being together.  I had so much fun holding baby Joshua again and I'm so sad that I didn't get a picture of him, he is getting so big!

Monday morning the guys took Ollie disc golfing.  He loves it just as much as they do!  When they got home we had lunch, packed up, and were headed home.  It works out nicely to have Ollie nap in the car :)  It was nice getting home in time to get settled before Andrew's last week of school started.  

We had a wonderful weekend full of delicious food and fun time with family.  Thanks so much Dad and Mom for everything!

37 weeks

Today I am 37 weeks and feeling big :)  My only real complaint is my lower back hurting when I do a lot.... so really can't complain.  Just trying to slow down a bit but still have a lot of things I want to get done before this baby comes. 

So last week at my 36 week check-up, the heart beat was 144 but she couldn't reach my cervix.  So to make sure the head was down we got to have an ultrasound yesterday.  We have never had one this close to the end and it was so cool to see such a big baby... and big it already is!  They think it is a little over 7 lbs already!  Yikes!  But they confirmed that the head is down and everything looks good.  We are just praying that I go on my own before my due date and that the baby is healthy:)  She said she won't let me go too much over since Ollie was so big and hard to get out :) We are so excited to meet our baby!

Mother's Day

My second Mother's Day was perfect!  After church, the family went to The Drake for a yummy brunch and then walked over by the river to take pictures.  Afterwards, we went to the park and played disc golf.  Us ladies left early with the kids so they could take a nap at Dad and Mom's.  We had a fun afternoon of playing games and relaxing.  For dinner Dad grilled and the boys helped prepare the meal and clean up!  It was soooo nice :)  After dinner Grandpa and Grandma Massner came over to visit.  It was such a beautiful day.  We are so thankful for our two mother's that love us with their actions and words.  I am so thankful that I get to be a mother to Ollie and soon another sweet babe.  So blessed!

To the zoo again...

For Jake's birthday, Nichole wanted to take him and Kate to the zoo.  She invited Mom, Ollie, and I to go along.  The weather was beautiful and it was super busy!  They had a blast.  We packed a lunch and ate at a picnic table after we had seen all the animals and before the train ride which we had to wait forever for.  Again, Ollie liked the carousel and the train the best and Jake liked the "tractor" he got to sit on before we left.  Such a fun day!

Jake's 2nd Birthday

On May 5th, we celebrated Jake's 2nd birthday!  He is obsessed with lawn mowers right now so that was the theme.  He even got a lawn care set which included a lawn mower, weed wacker, leaf blower, and more.  He also got a tractor he can peddle around.  All the kids loved his gifts... especially Ollie!

We love how well Ollie and Jake play (most of the time).  They are going to be best buds!  Love you Jake!

34 weeks

Today I am 34 weeks... only 6 to go!  My Dr. appointment went well and the baby's heart beat was 144.  The past couple of weeks have been a little rough, but nothing really to complain about.  I had a horrible sinus infection that I finally got antibiotics for which has really helped in the sinus area but not so much in the yeast infection area (sorry if that was too much info!).  But my back is doing great... I have been trying to get in the pool at least once a week which I'm sure is really helping.  The baby is moving around a lot and once in a while makes things a little uncomfortable.  We still haven't decided for sure on names and I still have a list of things I want to get done before his baby comes.  We can't wait to meet this precious little babe :)

Meeting Joshua

Last Saturday, we drove up with Andrew's dad to Chicago to meet our new nephew, Joshua Allen Ray!  Andrew's mom had stayed up there during the week to help out with Joshua, so we all went to pick her up.  And of course, snuggle with baby Joshua!  He was born on April 23rd and was 9lbs 4oz... such a big sweet boy!  Made us so excited to hold our baby in 6 weeks!  Here are some pictures of the day...
