Pumpkin Day!

Last Saturday was suppose to be Pumpkin Day at Dad and Mom Wieses' but it rained! So instead we did some moving! We moved an old piano from the dinning area into a moving truck to take up to Kevin and Melissa's in Chicago. Andrew didn't want to wear his shoes so Dad got him some of his socks and shoes. Let's just say Andrew was moving in style:)

The ladies trying to help...
The piano that made it safely to Chicago!
They got it in the truck with only a little hole in the wall:) They also moved the china hutch to where the piano was. It's so nice to have strong men around.
Grandpa and Oliver
That evening during home church we got Ollie to laugh so hard with a little kangaroo. It was so adorable.
On Sunday morning it was sunny and beautiful! We had so much fun picking pumpkins and taking pictures.

Thanks Dad and Mom for a fun weekend and for doing all that hard work so we can enjoy pumpkins. We love you!

3 Months

Oliver turned 3 months last week and is still growing like a weed! He has started wearing 6-9 or 6-12 month clothes. He has started moving around so much! I put him on under his play gym the other day and when I came back to check on him here he was :)
He has been trying to roll over and is so close to doing it!
Last week he found his thumb and hasn't forgotten about it.

Here he is on Friday at 3 months. My favorite thing he is doing is laughing... We love it!
A cute picture my mom took.
He is still sleeping like a champ and last night was his first night in his crib. It was kinda hard to do but he did great! I know he slept better than me... I had to wake him up at 8:45 this morning! He loves it when I read him this book before he takes his naps.
We are enjoying him so much! The only complaint we have is that he hates going to football games. He loves watching it on tv though:) We love you Buddy Boy!

Pumpkin Festival

Last weekend we went over to Morton, IL to see family and go to the Pumpkin Festival. Growing up we went over every year for it. Andrew had never been and this year I convinced him he had to at least try it once. My Uncle Mark and Aunt Cheryl always have people over for the parade and lunch. Sad to say that it did rain on our parade and it ended up being cancelled. We were at the beginning of the parade though so we did get a little candy... some of us were very happy about that :)

Mom, Nichole, and Jake trying to stay dry.
After a delicious lunch, we headed down to the festival to enjoy the tent, food, and rides.

Yummy pumpkin ice cream. This was actually Marie's but I did have an apple cider slush which is my favorite!
Oliver's first time on a swing...
We had a good time with family and can't wait to come back next year when Ollie is a little older and can enjoy it! Even though it did rain on our parade... Andrew stilled enjoyed it :)

Chicago

A couple of weekends ago Andrew, Oliver, and I went up to Chicago to visit family and go to the biggest resale I have ever been to! Friday night we drove up and stayed at Zach and Annika's.
Early on Saturday morning Annika and I woke up and headed to the fair grounds where the resale is held. There were 3 big buildings full of baby/kids clothes and pretty much anything for babies and kids. I think there were around 100 sellers in each building! It was kinda crazy but it was so fun looking through clothes (they were all organized by boy/girl, size, and items). I found so many good name brand clothes for only around a couple dollars each. After shopping till about 1 o'clock, and Annika treating me to lunch, I came back with Oliver's fall and winter wardrobe. I can't wait for the spring one! Thanks so much for inviting me Annika! I was so thankful that Andrew was willing to watch Oliver for me, I hadn't been away from him that long before. I think I missed Ollie more than he missed me but Andrew did a good job!
When we got done shopping we headed to Kevin and Melissa's. The boys were disc golfing when we got there (thanks Mom for watching Ollie so Andrew could go!) and this was sadly the only picture we got the whole weekend.
We enjoyed pizza and hanging out and headed home later in the evening. We had so much fun being with family. Thanks so much family for having us... you spoiled me Annika! We love you all!

11 weeks

Yesterday Ollie was 11 weeks old and had his first laugh! I was changing his diaper last night and was talking to him and he just started laughing. It didn't last too long but it sure was sweet! He is starting to enjoy his play gym more but still prefers his bouncy seat.

It is so fun watching him grow, and that he is doing!

Indiana

Over Labor Day weekend Ollie and I rode with Dad, Mom, Drew, Nichole, and Jake to Indiana for my cousins wedding. Andrew stayed home and went to the Iowa game with a friend. We left Saturday morning and Drew got to sit in the back between the babies. Actually he slept on the floor most of the way but did a great job with them when he was back there. He loves being an uncle:)
Smiley Jake...
Ollie..
Drew and I think that Oliver looks like Yadier Molina who plays for the Cardinals so we called him Yadi the whole weekend:)
The boys were great the whole way and we got to the hotel just in time to finish getting ready and head to the wedding. The wedding was in a huge university chapel and was beautiful. Here are the beautiful bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Warner!

I had so much fun seeing family and catching up. Here is a cousins picture.
Nichole and Kristi doing Cha-Cha... something us Massner cousins have been doing every since we were little... fun times :)
Zander watching his new cousins. It was so adorable.
After the reception we all went back to the hotel, hung out, and ate snacks.
We left Sunday morning and hung out at Dad and Mom's the rest of the day. Andrew, Aaron, and the girls came over and Uncle Matt, Aunt Lynne, and their kids followed us home so we had a fun house full. We are so thankful for wonderful family!
