Indiana

Over Labor Day weekend Ollie and I rode with Dad, Mom, Drew, Nichole, and Jake to Indiana for my cousins wedding. Andrew stayed home and went to the Iowa game with a friend. We left Saturday morning and Drew got to sit in the back between the babies. Actually he slept on the floor most of the way but did a great job with them when he was back there. He loves being an uncle:)

The boys were great the whole way and we got to the hotel just in time to finish getting ready and head to the wedding. The wedding was in a huge university chapel and was beautiful. Here are the beautiful bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Warner!

I had so much fun seeing family and catching up. Here is a cousins picture.

After the reception we all went back to the hotel, hung out, and ate snacks.

We left Sunday morning and hung out at Dad and Mom's the rest of the day. Andrew, Aaron, and the girls came over and Uncle Matt, Aunt Lynne, and their kids followed us home so we had a fun house full. We are so thankful for wonderful family!

2 months

Oliver had his 2 month check-up last Tuesday. He was 14 lbs 12.4 oz and 24 1/4 in. long! He is growing too fast:) I am enjoying staying home with him but we are missing Andrew now that he is back in school. He loves sitting in his bouncy seat and looking at the toys that hang across it. He has started blowing bubbles and we are working on sitting in his Bumbo. We are enjoying his smiles, talking, and snuggling. He is such a little blessing!

Birthdays

So last week was the birthday week. My brother Brock's was on Monday. Andrew's sister Abby's was on Tuesday. Mine was on Wednesday. Andrew's was on Saturday.

On my birthday Andrew had to do school and football stuff so I went to the pool with my mom, my sister, and her kids. I went up to my sister's for lunch. Here is Ollie waiting to go to the pool. He is getting really good at sitting in his Bumbo!

This about the extent of Oliver and Jake playing together... it's so funny because they hardly ever look at each other:) We can't wait until they are old enough to really play together!
The weather was so perfect. Mom was so sweet and held Oliver for me so I could get some sun. They had fun taking a nap:)

After the pool Nichole invited me to go with her to girls night. We ate at a Mexican restaurant and had a good time. I even got to wear a sombrero while they sang Happy Birthday to me. The best part about that was I got a yummy birthday dessert:)

On Friday we headed up to my parents to celebrate for the weekend. You can't tell in the picture but Friday night we saw a beautiful rainbow!
On Saturday, Aaron, Nichole and fam came over and Brock and Zach came home from college to celebrate. Brock and Ollie were showing Cardinal pride :) (much to Andrew's dismay)

We skyped Dustin and Leah so they could be in on the party too. We missed having you both there! Thanks Dad and Mom for a wonderful weekend of being spoiled. We love you guys!

Wiese Birthday Weekend

Since most of the Wiese family has an August birthday we usually try to get together and celebrate! This past weekend Andrew and I drove up on Saturday morning, stopped to do a little shopping, and headed out to the Wiesee Plantation. When we got there we had a fabulous BLT lunch and afterwards the "kids" headed outside to play on the slip-n-slide (bummed I didn't get a picture!). For dinner Dad grilled and afterwards we celebrated! Here are the grandparents with all the grandchildren.

7 Weeks Tomorrow!

Oliver is growing so fast! We weighed him the other day and he weighed 14lbs. He is growing out of his 0-3 month clothes and is now wearing 3-6 months and even 6 month onesies. He has slept through the night 4 nights in a row now! It has been so nice:) He lets us know when he is tired and loves to nuzzle into my neck to fall asleep. I love the cuddle time.

He is such a sweetie:)

Ollie's Room

I finally took some pictures of Oliver's room. I still haven't gotten anything for the walls yet which I hope to do soon! We will see:)

My favorite part about his room is his bedding that my cousin Leisa made. I love it! Oliver loves the dots on the bumper:)

He has been taking his naps in his crib but sometimes prefers his swing. We are enjoying him so much!
