35 weeks... a little late

On Tuesday I was 35 weeks along. I have been feeling pretty well besides having itchiness. I am trying really hard not to complain because I know it could be a lot worse and I know it will go away soon after I have the baby. It is getting a little harder to bend over and doesn't take much to get hot! The baby is still moving so much and I just love it! I have my 36 week check-up on Tuesday and we will find out if the baby is head down in position and how things are going. I am getting super anxious!
We have been working on the baby room and have most of what we can done. I am excited to get some shower gifts to finish it up. We won't be able to completely finish because if we have a girl I will accent with some pink and if we have a boy with some blue or green. Our cousin is making us a quilt that I am super excited about! She sent me some fabric samples so I have been able to match things I have gotten with those colors. Here is what we have done so far!

Mother's Day

This Mother's Day we spent the day with my mom. The boys made a fabulous dinner (with a little help) and we just had fun hanging out and holding Jake:)
Here is mom opening her gifts...
Mom and some of her gifts...
Mackenzie trying on her apron...
Mom with all her children!
We were bummed to not be able to be with Andrew's mom but got to celebrate with her last night! (so mad I didn't get a picture) We are so thankful and blessed to have 2 wonderful mothers who are wonderful examples and that show us their love by their actions. We love them so much and can't wait for them to be grandma's to our little one!

Baby Jake!

Our nephew Jake Allen Musselman was born on May 6th! He is so sweet and is a wonderful little baby. We can't get enough of holding him:) Here is a picture of him a couple hours after he was born.
Here he is with his favorite aunt and uncle 2 days later...
And here he is about a week old...
I thought I would throw this picture in of his little sister Kate who just loves to "pet her baby brudder."
We just love him so much and can't wait to have our little one!

Weekend Fun!

The second weekend in April we went up to Dad and Mom Wiese's to hang out with family! Everyone was home except Abby and AJ and Annika and Kathryn (we missed you guys!) Earlier in the week Ben and Sherry drove up from Virginia and stopped and spent the night at our house on their way to Dad and Mom's. We had fun showing them around town, disc golfing and grilling out. So on Friday we headed up to spend more time with them and the rest of the family. Friday night we got there and found that Andrew's sister Melissa is pregnant with her 4th! We are so excited that our baby will have a cousin close in age on the Wiese side! Saturday the boys woke up early and disc golfed 72 holes while us ladies went shopping. We had a fun evening hanging out and talking. I am so mad that I didn't take any pictures! Thanks so much Dad and Mom for a wonderful weekend!

Almost 7 weeks left...

and everything seems to be going well. Last week I had to get an antibiotic for a sinus infection that wouldn't go away... I have never even had one before! I really wasn't too excited about taking anything but I really needed relief, mostly so I could get some sleep. Now that that is almost gone I am sleeping much better and feeling pretty well. I have been walking almost every day except these past couple because of the rain. At my 32 week checkup on Wednesday the babies heartbeat was 158 and everything else looked good. My blood pressure was on the higher end so I am praying that goes down. Here is a picture of my belly at 31 weeks...

Here it is at 32 weeks...
So we have been working on the room lately. Here is some progress we have made. We have this old dresser that my mom got from her grandma a long time ago and she used it to change my diapers on. Well I painted it red when I took it to college and we have been using it in our extra room since. I decided that instead of buying one it would be perfect to use if we could just paint it white. Here is what it looked like before...
Andrew started sanding it. He did an amazing job sanding it down to the original wood!
And here is what it looked like when he was done and before I started painting it.
Here is the final product! I also spray painted the hardware because I could not find any new that would fit the hole sizes. I am very pleased with it and am so excited to use it!
We also got some cubicles to put some baskets in and a rocking chair. We bought the crib and Dad and Mom Wiese are bringing it down in the van tomorrow so we can put it together! (The box wouldn't fit in our car:) Everything is coming together and I'll post some pictures when it is mostly done because it won't be done done until after we have the baby and find out what we are having! We can't wait!

Massner Easter

These are a little late but I wanted to share some pictures of the Massner Easter. We had a wonderful time at Uncle Kenny's and Aunt Lori's with delicious food and beautiful weather for an egg hunt! Thanks so much for having us all!

Better late than never...

On March 20th we celebrated Nichole's 29th birthday at Dad and Mom's. We had a wonderful grilled meal! I painted Mackenzie and Kate's nails and got mine painted by Mackenzie in return:) We celebrated with an ice cream cake from Culver's and had fun watching her open her gifts.

Leah and Dustin... can't wait until she is officially my sister:)
My man and I. (you can see my beautiful nails if you look closely:)
Dad, Brock, Mom and Kate enjoying dessert.
Mom and her girls... minus Mackenzie and Kate.
They are twins!
We are so happy you live close now, Nichole, so we could celebrate your birthday with you! Thanks for being an amazing sister and for all you do... we love you!
